Deadline for the Charles Parker Prize is Monday 12 February 2024

A reminder that the final deadline for entries is Monday 12 February 2024 - entry forms, FAQs and more details available from our website. The competition is open to audio features (produced between 25th February 2023 and 12th February 2024) made by any student (or recently graduated student) in Further or Higher Education in the UK, and also by those who have attended an accredited media training course.

Each winning student producer will work alongside a mentor drawn from some of the very best feature-makers working in radio to adapt their features, as necessary, and each feature will be professionally mixed ready for broadcast on BBC Radio 4. The judging panel will also select one overall winner – the Gold Charles Parker Prize Winner 2024.

The prizewinners will be announced at the 2024 Charles Parker Day on Friday 22 March in the Arts Library at the University of Liverpool, 19 Abercomby Square, Liverpool, L7 7BD. Please save the date - more details available soon.
