Peggy Seeger – In her Prime

Tune into Peggy Seeger – In her Prime on BBC Radio 4 next Tuesday 19 October at 1.30pm to hear her talking to Charles Parker’s daughter, Sara about her life and what she calls her ‘song-making’ .

Peggy, now 75, has returned this year to live in Britain to be near her extended family and to explore new creative avenues. Her mother was avant-garde composer and pianist Ruth Crawford Seeger and her father, the pioneering folk music scholar Charles Seeger.

A Falling Tree Production, Peggy Seeger – In her Prime is produced by Prix Italia and Sony award-winning programme maker Alan Hall.  More info here.
