Programme announced for the Charles Parker Day on 18 March

Details of the programme for the 2016 Charles Parker Day on Friday 18 March 2016 are now available on this website.  Speakers include Peggy Seeger, Jennifer Bell, Calum MacColl, Karen Gregor and Mair Bosworth, Miles Warde, Alison Crawford and Iain Hunter, Caroline Mitchell and Peter Lewis, and Ellie MacDowell.  They will explore different ways of telling stories in sound.  The Charles Parker Prize for Best Student Radio Feature will also be presented – details here on how to enter.

The Charles Parker Day 2016 will take place at Bower Ashton Campus, The University of the West of England, Kennel Lodge Rd, Bower Ashton, Bristol, BS3 2JT.  Tickets are now available at £30 including lunch (£20 for students etc) – click here to book online.

The Charles Parker Day 2016 is a must for all listeners and students of radio and supported by The Charles Parker Trust, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 4Extra, Roberts Radio, SADiE, Soundscape Productions, The University of Sunderland and The University of the West of England.
